my iphone is locked and the screen broke is there anyway to sync it with i tunes like that?
I need to get my contacts and pictures off my phone and iTunes wont let it connect.
If you have never connected the phone to iTunes, never backed it up to iTunes, and never backed it up to iCloud it is too late to get any content off the phone. If you do have a backup you can restore the backup after the phone is repaired. You can also take it to an Apple store; sometimes they can replace the screen without losing the phone's content.
