Screen brightness

HI, I'm sending some photos to a lab and need to set the screen brightness between 60 and 120 candela, to edit the images in Aperture, so the prints don't come out too dark. I have read that that an iMac screen doesn't go down that low?

if it does, where on the brightness slider would 120 candela be?
