I'm running 10.11.1 can i also run 10.8.5 on my mac mini?

I just bought a Mac Mini with El Capitan 10.11.1 installed. The only reason I bought this computer was to run an older version of Pro Tools 10.3.10

After trying to install Pro Tools 10.3.10 I was notified that I needed a newer version of OS X lol. Turns out this version of Pro Tools is only supported on 10.8.2 - 10.8.5. Is it possible to run 10.8.5 on my new Mac Mini that has El Capitan installed? (really need this to work, my audio hardware is only supported up till 10.10.1 as well)

3 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

256 gb flash

Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), 3 GHz Intel Core i7 16 GB 1600 MHz

Yes. Restart with the Option, Command, and R keys held down, use the Disk Utility to erase or repartition the internal drive, and install Yosemite onto the blank volume.

If this installs 10.10.2 or newer, only if you have a full installer for 10.10 or 10.10.1.

The 2014 model can only run Yosemite or newer, so it can run 10.10 but cannot run 10.8.5. Another option would be to run 10.8 in Parallels or VMware Fusion.
