Does anyone know why some sites are available on my iPad, but not on my Macbook Pro notebook?

There are certain websites that have a portal for personal information that I cannot access on my Macbook Pro, but is available on my iPad. Does anyone know what I can set or disable on the laptop to allow access? Thank you.

Shall we try to guess what sites? Maybe a hint to the url would help us help you. Different sites are coded differently. Maybe you have an anti-virus program running on your computer that blocks access. Maybe you are blocking pop-ups on your computer. Maybe ... Until you tell us what sites so that we can do an analysis we would only be guessing.

Sorry about that. I'm trying to get into a portal that is part of a medical website. When I select the PORTAL, I get this message:

"The Website "mdsuite.derm-specialists.net" requires a client certificate to validate your identity. " Then below that is this message:

"com.apple.idm.prd" followed by a long string of numbers and letters.

Belong that is a box that says: Select: SHOW CERTIFICATE or CANCEL or CONTINUE. Nothing happens regardless of which I choose.

Does anyone know why some sites are available on my iPad, but not on my Macbook Pro notebook?
