Silent Clean Server

Hi all,

Recently i realised that a program named "SilentCleanServer" appeared out of nowhere running in my background. I tried to force quit it, but to no avail. Tried searching with avg anti virus as well , but couldn't find anything with it. Could this be some kind of virus or adware ? Thanks !

It's the new function of imobie phoneclean 4.0 released in 2015. NOV. 27th

http://www.imobie.com/phoneclean/

Past version of imobie phoneclean should be connected via USB between your iPhone/iPad and Mac/PC.

The new version imobie phoneclean 4.0 can delete your iPhone/iPad's junks and temporary files via WIFI connection.

So that APP call the new function was SilentCleanServer and it was launched in background when your Mac startup.

But I still don't know how to stop this background app while Mac startup.

Even I trashed the imobie phoneclean 4.0, that background app SilentCleanServer still launched while startup.

Try deleting the "com.imobie.PhoneClean" and "com.iMobie.SilentCleanServer" folders in ~/Library/Application Support

I did this : install again phone clean, then go to application folder and right click on it, select show all data. Select components, you'll find silentcleanserver file put it in the trash and delete it. After that uninstall phoneclean. Hope this will be helpful
