creating playlist to exclude songs

I have several thousand albums in my iTunes library but few playlists. Among the albums are approximately 100 Christmas albums. I do have a playlist of the Christmas albums. Is there a way to randomly play the tunes in my library and to exclude the Christmas albums that are on the playlist? I only want to play the Christmas albums as a playlist.

Create a smart playlist whose rules are:

  • Playlist is Music
  • Playlist is not Christmas Music

Then shuffle play this new playlist.
