What are best practices for applying LUTs in FCP X?
I have a question regarding a color grading workflow within FCP X:
I'm working on a project involving 2 different codecs:
- Sony XAVC-S S-Log3
- GoPro Protune
In order to properly apply pre-existing LUTs, is all the same to first transcode everything to ProRes 4444, or would it be best to first apply the LUTs to the files in their native codecs?
