How do you save the image of a google map that is contained in a website? I am using a early 2011 macbook pro and working on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. I would like to capture the map image and print it with good quality.

Take a screen shot and print that

Another option would be to "Print to PDF" via the web browser's print command.
Also you can right click (control Click) and copy the link/ coordinates of the map.
If you paste that in your address bar, you can drag the address bar to the desktop for a .webloc
