Some albums don't show up under artists on my ipod touch 5th generation music app?

For example, I can't one of my Shins albums under The Shins as an artist, but if I look up the songs separately under the songs section, I can find them. I can also find the album under the album section. How can I fix this? I have tried deleting the album and putting it back onto my ipod. Help please?
