All images get a frame automatically.

Whether I download an image or create one using a photo app, it automatically gets a white frame added when saved to my desktop. How can I stop this?

Thank you for your help!

Lol, when I drag a photo here, it appears without the frame. But on the desktop or if I try to edit the photo in an app, it is there. It does not appear when I open a photo in Preview. It is just a plain white mask that I can't crop off without losing part of the image. I will try to figure out a way to get a photo of it on here. Thank for taking the time to respond.
