I can't call or answer my phone AND headphones don't work

My calling and headphone use went out. My phone will ring but not show the screen to answer. Or someti I can call but cannot hear or talk. For my headphone use my phone just doesn't recognize that headphones are plugged in! How do I get these uses back?
