photos stopped saving to camera roll

Hi there

I have an iPhone 4S and recently upgraded to iOS9.1. When I take a photo it no longer saves to my camera roll....I can view the pic after I take it but all the options are greyed out and then when I go in to Pictures to view it, it is not there.

Problem with new iOS or settings?
