Can i import the AAE setting from IPhone into Aperture?

I have made a lot of color corrections and crops already on my iPhone but when i import in Aperture to do not come across. Is there a

way to apply those settings to the imported photos

Import the photos first into the Photos.app. Photos can apply the .AAE files.

This way the edits will be applied.

The Photos.app has an option "Add to Aperture" in the Share menu, that will forward the edited versions to Aperture.
