I've just migrated a number of local user accounts to a server. Everything is working great, I just want to know if there is a way to set everyone's "/Users/Shared" folder to a single shared directory on the server.

It would make a number of tasks much simpler.

You could try replacing each user's "~/Shared" folder with a symbolic link to a share point with group ownership that would allow them to use it. If you set the setGID bit on the directory, everything created inside will have the right group ownership. It would probably be easier to just have them ignore the "~/Shared" directory and learn about the group sharepoint, though.
