My Itunes is running super slow and every time I download something the following message occurs...." We could not complete your Itunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-50)

If you are getting an error -50 when attempting to download purchases from the iTunes Store, please use the steps in this article to troubleshoot - If you see an alert in iTunes that says "There was an error downloading your purchased music."
