My iPad repeatedly locks up. It is a MD522LL/A model (iPad2). I have not put in any new apps.

It sounds like your iPad is freezing in the course of normal use, and you cannot narrow down the behavior to one specific app. In order to address this behavior, you may want to try updating your software using one of the methods in the article below:


Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If the behavior does not allow you to update your iPad, you may need to restore your iPad:


Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
