updating MacBook Pro w/o Access to Cellphone

Hello! I'm not too conversant w/computer jargon; but, I'll give my question a good college try. I received a popup on my laptop asking me to (I believe) update keychain access, (having already input my correct Apple ID password). However, I was unable to correctly input my keychain password; and, I was also unable to access the keychain password they sent to my cellphone (at the time), as my cellphone was updating.

So, w/o access to my iPhone (momentarily) as the dual device to which keychain'd ordinarily text one's password and w/o access to my keychain password, how'd I proceed with the above requested keychain process and or keychain update?
