Voice call 5-7 second lag and keyboard lag issue, iOS 9.1, 6s

This recently began happening to my 5s, then got a 6s Saturday( IOS 9.1 ). Same problem. I turned off wifi calling (I thought/hoped this would help eliminate the issue if it was turned "on"). Also began noticing lag in typing on keyboard on the 6s. I just connected/synced to iTunes today. I can't seem to find anything on how to resolve. Any help is greatly appreciated. It's so frustrating trying to talk to people when there is 5-7 sec voice delay!! We started saying "over" when we are done speaking so the other can begin! Like a walkie Talkie! PLEASE HELP!!
