my iphone screen freezes everytime i open it

so basically my iPhone screen will appear normal then after I slide it , it freezes and I am not able to get into it.ive heard the 10 sec hold down ad I try it but that doesn't work ad I still get notifications but I just cant get into my phone and open it at all
