I recently bought an iPhone 6 and I want to transfer all my data from my iPhone 4S to the 6. I did a backup on my iPhone 4S. but my 4S is currently running iOS 9.2 beta 4 and the iPhone 6 is only on iOS 9.1. I tried transferring but it said the software was too old, do I need to update my iphone 6 to ios 9.2 beta as well for it to work? I just want all my stuff onto the new phone. Thanks

You need to either do that, or downgrade the iPhone 4S to 9.1, or back it up to a computer and use the iPhone Backup Extractor to manually transfer the contents.
