Q: Save As

Hi

 

I have another question.  When I go to save as on word for mac the pop up box is longer than my screen and I can't see the buttons at the bottom of the pop up screen and I can't seem to move it. 

 

Any suggestions to make the ops up box fit the screen?

Hello, hold the shift key down whilst holding the cursor on the edge of the Save As box, move it inwards

and the box will resize proportionally, thus getting the bottom of the box back on screen.

    Eau Rouge, thanks that does work, but......

     

    Why the change?  Who wants to have to do this when previously the save as screen never extended beyond your computer screen so adjustments ere never necessary.

     

    This seems to happen whenever the document screen you are saving extends to the bottom of the open screen before you begin the save-as action.

     

    This is clearly a bug that's snuck into El Capitan and can and should be fired by Apple.

     

    Oh the difficulty of satisfying your customers who grow accustomed to how well things normally work when even such a small glitch occurs

     

    I probably would never have mentioned this unless my wife brought me her Air today complaining of the same thing and I had to assure her it wasn't her fault but was a bug in the new operating system.
