Canon i-SENSYS MF8540Cdn colour printing problem

We have Canon i-SENSYS MF8540Cdn in our network. Device prints colours more or less correct if sent from PC with the driver Canon MF8500C UFRII LT XPS only. If sent from any Mac computer or IOS device via AirPrint colours are not correct (green instead black and so on). Does anyone have the same problem? Is there any solution?

Mac mini, OS X Server

Since the colours are okay from Windows using the Canon UFR2 driver, then I suggest you install the same driver on OS X instead of using the AirPrint driver. Here is a link to the MF OS X UFR2 LT driver from the Canon Australia web site.

Just for your reference, I have the bigger brother to your model; the MF8580Cdw, and the colours are fine when printing from OS X and iOS using the AirPrint driver.

Seems odd that you are getting the same issue with a different driver. This would indicate an issue with the printer or with the OS. Since you are printing fine from Windows then that rules out the printer, leaving the OS as the cause.

Could you open System Information (located under Applications > Utilities) and select Printers in the left column. If the MF is the only printer you have then its information will be shown in the right pane. If you have more than one printer, then select the MF from the top right pane to see its information in the bottom right pane. Can you select all this information, copy and then paste back here for me to check.
