How to a send large video file to teacher? (iPad Air to an old Mac)

For my written and oral class, I need to send an almost 2 hour video to my teacher. She has a Mac, but it's not running yosemite and I don't know what year it's from. What would be the best way to send this to her? I was thinking air drop but after looking at air drop requirements I don't think I can do it that way with her. I just need a free fast easy way to send her my video which is already in my camera roll (on an iPad Air) to her older Mac.

  • Buy a cheap 4GB or larger USB thumbdrive.
  • Using Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility, Format it Mac OS Extended (Journaled) -or- exFAT (NOT FAT, nor FAT32).
  • copy the video to the USB thumbdrive.
  • give the USB thumbdrive to your teacher.

Or Google "Dropbox like services"

Chances are one of them will offer temporary free cloud storage of at least 3GB, and an easy way for your teacher to access what you store there.

But really a USB thumbdrive would be the easiest.
