latency in exported movie Logic 9

I am encountering latency and audio problems when I export my music to an .mov movie. There is popping which does not sound when I am working with the program and the movie.

Perhaps related to that is a slowness with Logic 9 which I have never experienced before when I have the movie loaded into it. Any kind of change or manipulation of Logic is slow and the coloured disc appears while Logic computes the change or modification. When I remove the move Logic responds normally.
