[Macbook Pro 2011 13"] Digital Output Stuck

Hello everyone,

I have noticed that on my trusty 13" macbook pro circa 2011 the headphone port has become stuck, and defaults to digital audio only. Because my warranty is expired, I need to solve this!

Symptoms:

When headphone port is empty, no sound plays, and output defaults to digital output.

When headphones are plugged in, sound plays through internal speakers.

The weird part: On my windows partition, despite the red light still being on, the headphones work as normal. When inserted, headphones work. When removed, the speakers work. weird.

Things I've tried already:

-Upgrading to newest os, El Capitan

-Running 16g of ram instead of 4g

-Removing 3rd party audio controllers

-Compressed air / duster

-A toothpick in the headphone port

-Resetting NVRAM & PRAM

Things I haven't tried but will soon:

-Clean factory reset to base os

-Throwing my laptop into a pool

Any help is appreciated thank you!!
