External retina monitor has no power to MacBook Pro

My external retina monitor has stopped providing power to my MacBook pro (OS 10.10.2) and therefore will not come on. I have tried resetting the SMC but it didn't help. I connected the MacBook to another external retina display (same model) and it works fine. I have unplugged everything, plugged the display into a several different power outlets with no success. I plugged the display into a different MacBook and encounter the same problem - no power. The problem appears to be in the monitor, not the computer. Is there a monitor reset or anything else I can do?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

Hello sh5345,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you have pretty well isolated the power issue to a problem with the display. You can take a look at this link for your support options for getting the display repaired.
