I have a MacBook Air with latest OS. I deleted all photo and videos in my photo library to free up space. however, in usage it still shows the photo library used more than 9 gb space in "about Mac" page of setting

Did you remove your recently deleted items from the Photos app (fiole>recently deleted) /or if still using iPhotos, did you empty iPhotos own Trash as wellas empting Mac Trash?

How can i go to recently deleted??
Photos>File>Show Recently Deleted
You can also use an app like this to find where they are located if Recently Deleted is not the cause.
