Iphone 6s Plus vs Iphone 6 Plus Battery

I noticed that the battery my IPhone 6 Plus seems better than the IPhone 6s Plus. But I read that it was supposed to be the other way around. Any of you notice or having the same observation?

So you're using both phones the same way - same apps, calls, text, etc and that's how you got your observation?

I'm using the IPhone 6 Plus more. I'm currently out of the country so my IPhone 6s Plus is connected on a wi-if but is on airplane mode.

Is it possible the 6s Plus consumes more battery because the processor is better than 6 Plus or there's something that's making it consume more battery?
