Q: iphoto

My iphoto isn't working. Ive downloaded the new version of the computer and iphoto now won't work. I've tried to download the new version of iphoto but there is an alert in which there is written that i can't download the new version of iphoto because of my apple ID. What should i do? thank you.

we need details

as a guess you upgraded to El Captain and need iPhoto 9.6.1 and do not keep your software up to date - if that is it see Can't Update iPhoto because it is not available in the App Store

or of course use the new Photos application which will migrate your iPhoto library
