New Empty Project Problems

Hi there,

Something wrong must have happened when I was trying to connect my Line 6 GX interface to Logic Pro X on my Macbook Pro.

When I start a new empty project it won't let me choose anything apart from External MIDI.

Another problem is that when I choose External MIDI, I cannot have more than 4 tracks at a time and it comes up with the message, "You have added the maximum number of Audio tracks (4) to your song. Delete one or more Audio tracks before adding another Audio track."

If anyone could solve these problems it would be a great help
