Old text messages and call log gone

I got a 6S yesterday, and after transferring everything to my new phone, ALL my old text messages and call log are gone. Everything else appears to have transferred to the new phone, except these 2 things. I tried turning off and turning back on iMessage, but that didn't do anything.
