There is no such thing as an "iMac Pro Laptop". And you can't directly connect an ATV to anything but a screen with HDMI input.

Why?  It does not make sense.

The Apple Tv just makes it easy to access online Movie and Tv services on a TV. All of which can already be accessed on a computer through their websites or Apps.

I any case, no you cannot connect an Apple TV to a computer to use it as a screen.

But whatever you need to access from the Apple TV you should be able to access directly on the computer.

What are you trying to view?

As I already said, you can't. The ATV can output to HDMI only. So the viewing device has to be a screen with HDMI input. And, just in case you didn't know, the ATV can't store any content locally (except for apps and screen savers). All content (movies/TV shows and such) has to be fed through a network connection (LAN or Internet or both).
