Q: forgot restriction passcode

I forgot the restriction passcode on my iPad and I can't just erase the whole iPad without having the restrictions passcode how can I get around that

iPad Mini, iOS 9.1

Plug it into iTunes and restore as new, or if find my iPad is enabled, login to your iCloud account in a web browser and execute a remote erase - that is the only way you can reset a forgotten restrictions passcode.
