I've just opened up FCPX and for the life of me cannot find where the supplied music is - it seems to have disappeared.
I refer to the Apple 'copyright free' tracks such as Elysium.
They are still in my edits, but have gone from "Music and Sound"...

Elysium is one of the iLife Sound Effect Jingles. Do you have the iLife applications?

If in fact you do not have the iLife sounds available, FCP X has most likely copied the files in use to the Library and therefore can still play whatever music is in the Timeline.
iLife sounds are buried in the iMovie Package Contents.
