After upgrading OS X El Capitan, my MBP is crashing constantly...

Since I upgraded to OS X El Capitan a few weeks ago, my (mid 2009) Macbook Pro is crashing CONSTANTLY! It started off just once a day or so... progressively has been getting worse.. at times just crashing over and over 3-4x every few minutes. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong by reading the panic report? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I did upgrade RAM about a year ago. however, i did not have any problems until now. (original was 2gb, upgraded to 4gb)

I followed your advice, removed the new RAM and restored it back to the original. Keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully no more crashing!

Is there a way to upgrade RAM without triggering panic/crashing? I know my MBP is old as dirt and am overdue for a new one, but was really hoping that I could keep it going a little longer with the upgrade 😕

Thanks so much for your help!!
