i have sent my ipod fifth gen into recovery mode and it is still saying that the ipod is disabled what can i do?

I have tried to send my Ipod 5th generation into recovery mode and reset it to factory settings after forgetting my password i managed to disable it but once i supposedly sent it into recovery mode and the process had finished it is still saying that it is disabled, please can someone help?
