Q: how can I change my Apple id. It is my old e-mail and I want to use my new e-mail

I have a new e-mail and can't figure out how to change my id in i-cloud??? I can change my password, but want to change to my new e-mail for my id

It's worth emphasising something mentioned in the Support page - sign out of iCloud on all your devices before proceeding, otherwise you will find yourself in difficulties.
