Bootcamp and thunderbolt drives with windows will they work like on the mac side

Running a Mac Pro late 2013 El Capitane with bootcamp and windows 10

Just tried a thunderbolt wd drive ob the windows side complete failure

The mac side was not much better even after formatting

Will thunderbolt work in boot camp for external drives ?

Mac Pro (Late 2013), iOS 9.1, windows 10
