I get crazy!
My wife's is looking on our Apple TV, and I want to watch a TV show that I've a season pass for. BUT – I can't find any way to look at this without downloading it.
I don't want to download it. I want to stream it so I don't have to wait 30 minutes before the download is finished!??!
Have I missed something, or has Apple?! 😠

You don't have to wait for it to download completely.
It will start to play when it has downloaded enough to play without stopping. Exactly the same as if you stream it.

So you mean if I hit the download button (a cloud with an arrow) it will start playing after the buffering period?
I waited for a couple of minutes before I gave up and moved to my Mac (where it started playing almost instantly after hitting play).
Sorry, I got a bit confused.
WHen you fist ourchase a movie in iTunes, it starts to download and asks if you want to watch it.
Downloading doesn't play it, it just downloads it to your iPad.
After it's downloaded you would have to press play.
Select it in the Videos app and tap the Play button to stream if. Or tap the iCloud button to download it.
How do I stream a bought movie on my iPad instead of downloading it!?
