I forgot my pin for my iPhone and can't use recovery mode because my sleep button is jammed. Quite a predicamnet ik

Only thing you can do is let it die and then hold the home button when you plug it in to your computer to put it in recovery mode.
Actually if the phone is activated and you have an icloud account you can remotely wipe it from icloud.com
Go to find my iphone and erase phone.
Take it to Apple and ask them to fix it for you.
The sleep/wake button is not repairable. Only a full phone replacement will be offered at $199.99
I'll try what you said but if it doesn't work should I be considering getting a new phone like the guy above said?
