Nov 30, 2015 1:16 PM in response to bkkrocksby Russ H,DVD is standard definition and I'm guessing that your camera shot HD. If your m4v was HD it will inevitably be higher quality than the DVD.
You can optimize the quality of the DVD by applying the Best Resize filter. You will also get somewhat better results if you export a Pro Res master file and use that as the input file for your D VD encoding.
