It seem like all of the keys on my small wireless keyboard work, including the Shift key. The problem is that many keys do not work when the Shift key is pressed. If I try to type a capital I or T, I get nothing on the screen. This keyboard is three years old, but it has hardly been used at all. When I began using it, quite a few keys would not work. Now it's just a few keys with Shift. Any ideas?

Does it operate the same from the left and right SHIFT key?
Yes, it's the khe pared that came with the iMac. I believe neither Shift key produces capitals. I'll try tomorrow, just to make sure. In the meantime, I've gotten the big, white plug-in keyboard.
About half the keys work with the left Shift key, but all of them work with the right Shift key and aps lock. Whoops! I just noticed that the capital c does not work with either Shift key. C Caps lock makes it work, though.
EDIT: Well, now it looks like the right Shift key is not much better than the left. It capitalizes some letters that the left key doesn't, but it doesn't get all of them.
I have tried this keyboard on two different iMacs with the same result.
Keyboard failure. Time for a new keyboard.
Say it isn't so! I guess sitting too long wasn't good for it. I already got a wired keyboard with a numeric keypad. I'll keep this one - just in case. Thanks for your help.
