Far Far Away Title text fades out before the end

I am using the Far Far Away title preset in FCPX. I have a pretty lengthy bit of text to scroll (the poem 'Twas The Night Before Christmas) and no matter how long I extend the title in the timeline the text fades out just before the last couple of verses and makes the end of the poem disappear. I've searched the forums and can't find an answer. I've also expanded the video attributes to see if I had a hidden fade or transition and I don't. Any ideas are appreciated!

The title has 2 modes. the default is 'Fixed' where the scrolling speed is independent of the duration of the title, though the speed can be adjusted with the slider. The alternative is Automatic, where the speed does depend on the title duration:

Add about a dozen carriage returns at the end of the poem in the text editor. Set the Speed Control to Automatic. Stretch the title out to about 3 minutes length or so.

Thanks for the responses so far. I already have the speed set to automatic and the clip is extended more than 3 minutes. The speed is not an issue. I will try adding returns to the end of the text, fox_m, and see where that gets me.

Could you not speed up the scrolling a bit using fixed mode and the slider?

The returns did the trick. Not a very elegant solution but it works. Thank you for the tip!
