Ipad won't turn on...HEEELLLPPPP!

I've had my iPad for about 3 years now and I've encountered no problem until now. I believe the battery went dead from about Friday and when I tried charging it yesterday (Sunday) nothing happened!

iPad Mini, iOS 9
