5th gen iPod touch is completely unresponsive... Help

Hey

My fifth gen iPod touch has completely stopped working. I was just walking around taking photos when it shut off out of nowhere. (It had almost full battery and has never had battery issues in the past by the way..)

Nothing happens when I plug it in. It's just died on me.

I have had it for 3 years now though so it could just be old.

What do I do? I'm almost an hour away from an Apple Store so that's not very convenient

i just need help ugh

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
