This weekend I went to visit family in the country and my imessage stopped working, so i thought it was because i did not have good service. When i got home , my phone still wouldn't let me receive nor send imessages. They come through on my macbook but not on my phone so what do I do because i have tried everything.

I don't know what everything is so:

Link your iPhone number and Apple ID to use iMessage and FaceTime - Apple Support
If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support
I've reset my network settings, signed in and out of imessage , and rebooted my phone.
I am having the same problem. Does it work when connected to Wifi? Who is your carrier? My problem started on Thanksgiving. Everything else works fine when using data, just not iMessage and Facetime.
Why wont my phone let me receive imessages?
