I would like to ask for your help.

So, wife has an old iphone 3 and it now has a cracked screen and limited response to touch. She just got a new 6s today (I'm jealous)

Problem is that there are a bunch of photos on the old 3 and I can't find a way to get them into iphoto on my macbook. B/C of the damage to the screen there is limited area that responds to touch/motions, therefore I can not "depress" the button to trust computer when plugged into macbook.

Any thoughts on how I can get to the photos and import them to macbook?
