Plug it in.
Technically it will charge off a computer's USB port, however many USB's turn off when a computer goes to sleep so a more reliable way to charge is to use a plugin charger and charge it plugged into the wall.
Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store or Authorized Apple service provider and have it tested. If the battery is defective, they will change it. There is a charge for this service.
