Why my laptop was locked and I can't turn on my computer

Last week I used all battery of my laptop, and it turned off automatically. Then i just put it for the whole day. While I am trying to recharge it, it can't be turned on, but the light of MagSafe 2 can be able to light. The screen is black, nothing on it and didn't work when I press or long press power button. After it I try to reset SMC, but it didn't work. I try to contact Apple Care, they saids Except reset SMC and PRAM, not ways. I should go to Genius Bar immediately but Genius Bar is far from me. Others said maybe it's locked because of static in winter so I should open my laptop and re-insert the battery to unlocked the static protected. So what's the easiest way to solve it?

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), 2013-mid
