Transcode Media button ghosted in "File"

Transcode Media button ghosted in "File"

Ive completed a video in FCPX and want to optimize my media from Proxy to Optimized, but when I look in there dropdown menu in File the 'Transcode Media' button is Ghosted, Why is this and how can I fix it???

DO you have the clips selected in the browest?

Yes, I press (‘Command’ A) to select all clips and it's still ghosted

What are the exact specs of the media? They may already be in an optimized format.
